Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson is focused on the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of real estate financing opportunities for Hudson Place Financial. He has spent most of his 30+ year career leading the acquisition, development, marketing and sale of commercial real estate assets and residential communities in major markets across the country. Prior to joining Hudson, Scott spent the previous 5+ years with Virgo Investment Group, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, where he focused on real estate investment and land development financing opportunities as part of Virgo’s real estate platform.

Mr. Johnson’s real estate background includes the management and sale of a national commercial real estate portfolio that included over 100 properties for Beal Bank; the acquisition and entitlement of land, lots, and building sites for national public builder Centex Homes; and the development of 1,000+ acres of land, thousands of residential lots and over 1 million square feet of commercial buildings for Centex Development Company and its predecessor entities. 

A life-long Texan, Mr. Johnson graduated with a BBA from The University of Texas with a double major in Finance and Real Estate. He and his wife Michelle live in Dallas, Texas, and have two grown children.
